Hotel Sex at Home
Sometimes you just don’t have the time or the money to get to a hotel for a night of passion. But should you go without? Absolutely not! Here are some ideas about how to recreate hot hotel sex right in your own home:
Privacy. This is one of the biggest perks of hotel sex so you absolutely have to take the kids and dogs to grandmas to make this work. Also turn off the phones and close the blinds. Try to make this a secluded and undisturbed setting for the next 12-24 hours.
Props. As with every play, props are key to carrying the story and making it real. Go to the drug store and stock up on trial sizes of soap, shampoo, conditioner, bubble bath, shaving cream (oh the joys of shared personal hygiene). Head to the grocery store to pick up snacks for your version of a mini bar, everything from almonds to chocolate and anything else that tickles your fancy. Then finally to the liquor store to pick up the tiniest bottles of booze you can find (and maybe a decent bottle of champagne).
Ambiance. There is something very special about a hotel room. How do you recreate this atmosphere on a budget in your own space? The two rooms you will be most concerned with are the bedroom and the bathroom. Since you have no housekeeping service you’ll have to tidy everything yourself. Try to get rid of as many personal effects as possible to duplicate the uncluttered feeling of hotel room. Put the champagne on ice and set the other props you purchased earlier within easy reach so you won’t miss room service.
Extra Touches. The nice thing about hotel sex at home is that there are things you can add that most hotels do not supply. Fill your rooms with pillar candles and flowers. Add scented or flavoured massage oils to your mix of props. You can even run the tub and float rose petals in the water. If you are interested in a more raunchy night make sure you’ve got the bedroom wired for porn and sexy accessories close at hand.
Now the stage is set. Put a “Do Not Disturb” sign on the doorknob, add your partner and make the most of your hotel sex getaway at home.
